Cat festivals are real and they are spectacular. Wait, you've never heard of a cat festival before?
What is a cat festival?
Cat festivals often feature various activities like cat adoptions, vendor booths, educational sessions with guest speakers, celebrity cat appearances from social media, entertainment and music, giant props, food, costumes, giveaways, swag bags, VIP all cat access, you name it!
Why are there cat festivals?
Cat festivals are worth a visit if you love cats, love cat merchandise and want to be a part of raising awareness about cat welfare issues and help these events fundraise for cat-related charities. Sometimes it's great to be in a place with other cat lovers that just 'get you'.
The Bailey Brush sometimes shows up at festivals too! One year we even set a record for the World's Largest Cat Fur Ball and made quite the spectacle. Follow us on Instagram to be a part of the furball challenge.
Without further ado, here's a list of the top cat festivals. To post your event to the list of events and festivals be sure to check out the bailey cat community forums.
